World-Class Turnkey PCB Assembly and Production
Power Design Services (PDS) has played a key role in the development of many groundbreaking products but NASA’s Nanosatellite program is one that we are really proud of.
In 2013, PDS helped build a unique PCB assembly for NASA Ames Research Center. The product was known as TechEDSat-X and led to the development of a cubic-shaped micro satellite that is powered by solar cell panels. This month, two of these nanosatellites known as CubeSats will be strapped to an Atlas V rocket which is bound for the International Space Station. Their mission is to demonstrate how well swarms of similar satellites can communicate and network with each other with minimal instruction from Earth.Continue Reading
